Healthy weight, the preventing and managing obesity is becoming a national priority. All children regardless of age /disability need a balance of the right nutrients in the right amounts and to avoid excessive intake of foods high in fat, salt or sugar. By encouraging your child to develop good eating habits and to enjoy any types of physical activity or unstructured play is the best way for children to contribute to reducing obesity.

If you are concerned about your child’s weight then contact your school nurse on 0208 8368621  and they can offer appropriate information, support and signposting to appropriate weight management services if required.
